Courtney Baum, Director of Career Center
Courtney Baum, Director: Courtney is responsible for directing and managing the overall operations of the Career Center including all services, programs, and support for undergraduate and graduate students and Alumni. Courtney works with the VP of Student Affairs to implement programs that support the broader mission of the College while meeting institutional and departmental goals, objectives, and benchmarks. Courtney meets with seniors regarding the job search and graduate school application process, collaborates internally with campus offices, and serves as a liaison to employers, Alumni and parents of current or prospective students. Courtney holds a MA degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from IUP and BS degree in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh. Courtney has over 11 years experience in the field serving as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Carnegie Mellon University prior to her arrival to the Saint Vincent.
Dennis supports the overall operation of the Career Center by working with students to advise and counsel individuals on career exploration, career transitioning, job search techniques and the graduate and professional school application experience. Dennis administers and interprets Career Assessment Tools such as the STRONG Interest Inventory and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), assisting students in the major and career decision making process. In addition to collaborating with the staff through on-campus events, Dennis also serves as the external liaison and member of the executive planning committees for both the WANT and WestPACS Job Fairs. Dennis received his BS degree from Penn State, and MA degree in Counseling from IUP. He has been at Saint Vincent College for 27 years, and previously worked for the Commonwealth as an employment counselor for 7 years. 
Christine guides each student on a variety of internship related topics including resume and cover letter writing, networking, interview and job fair preparation and the creation and development of new Career Center internship initiatives. Christine collaborates with the Director and Associate Director to coordinate the summer, fall and spring internship opportunities through recruiters, Alumni, and other college contacts. Christine also will serve as the liaison between faculty, students and employers regarding the internship paperwork and guidelines for the internship program. Christine holds a BA degree in Sociology from Saint Vincent College. She has dedicated nearly 11 years to the field of Career Services, most recently as a Career Consultant for Carnegie Mellon University and adjunct faculty for ITT Technical Institute where she also previously served as Director of Career Services. 
Dolly monitors office activities to achieve maximum productivity for all visitors and guests. Dolly supports the Director, Associate Director and Internship Coordinator in all administrative tasks including organizing of internship data using CETrack database, tracking all internship opportunities completed by Saint Vincent College students. She also assists with all job fair preparation and additional programming, both on and off-campus. Additionally, she oversees the jobs entered into the College Central Network ensuring professional opportunities for students. Education includes Unit Record /Computer Programming and Secretarial/Business. Prior to Saint Vincent, Dolly worked 11 years at the former Mesta Machine Company as a Division Engineer Secretary.
