Students in Procession

In order to comply with fire and safety regulations, admission to the 2019 Saint Vincent College Spring Commencement ceremony will be by ticket only.  The ticketing system is explained below:

Online Commencement Form

All graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony are required to complete the Online Commencement Form, which will be available at www.stvincent.edu/commencement between Monday, Feb. 18, and Sunday, Mar. 17.  This will provide a single location to gather all information regarding Commencement, eliminating the need to communicate with multiple offices.  Through this form, graduates will be able to:

  • Order ceremony tickets
  • Confirm attendance at Commencement
  • Order academic attire and study abroad sashes
  • Order name cards and announcements
  • Confirm phonetic spelling of name to be read at ceremony
  • Request special-needs parking passes and tickets
  • Provide information to Public Relations for publicity
Phase One:  Feb. 18 - March 17, 2019

All degree candidates who have applied for graduation through the Registrar's office will be guaranteed four (4) tickets in the Gymnasium.  All additional tickets will be issued for general admission seating in the satellite viewing areas.  Between Feb. 18 and March 17 seniors or their families may fill out the online request form to reserve their tickets. To avoid confusion, please designate one person to fill out the online form.  Please fill out the form completely to ensure that your needs will be accommodated. Changes to ticket requests will be accepted through Friday, April 5.  Orders for academic attire and announcements must also be placed during Phase One.  Anyone requesting to participate after March 17 will need to borrow academic attire and will not receive name cards for announcements. Changes to ticket orders may be made until Friday, April 5; however, the academic attire order will be placed on March 18. No changes or additions will be able to be made after this date.

Phase Two: Ticket Distribution

On April 15, all tickets will be distributed at the Senior One-Stop Shop in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Gymnasium.  Since all seating will be reserved, every effort will be made to seat families together at the ceremony.

After April 15, additional tickets for satellite viewing areas only will be available for pickup in the Event and Conference Services Office, located on the second floor of the Fred M. Rogers Center.

Please direct all questions regarding Commencement ticketing to the Event and Conference Services Office at 724-532-5030.
