Saint Vincent College Department of Mathematics in the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, inducted 14 students into its new Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society on April 28 at the Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion. Pi Mu Epsilon is a national organization dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding. Dr. Darci Kracht of Kent State University, a national councilor for the society, conducted the installation ceremony. Dr. Daniele Arcara, chairperson and associate professor of mathematics, Dr. Jennifer Diemunsch, assistant professor of mathematics and Dr. Matthew Prudente, assistant professor of mathematics and faculty adviser of the Mathematics Club, participated in the ceremony.
