English Department Faculty present at conference |
Two groups of faculty from Saint Vincent were presenters at the National Council of Teachers of English conference in Pittsburgh. On Nov. 17, Dr. William Hisker, Dr. Steven Gravelle, Dr. Eugene Torisky and Dr. William Snyder comprised a panel that presented “Six Principles of Good Writing and the Interdisciplinary Writing Program at Saint Vincent College.” On Nov. 19, Fr. Library announces hours for finals week |
During exam week, the Saint Vincent Library will be open Friday, Dec. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 12 noon to 11:45 p.m. Hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Dec. 12, Dec.13 and Dec. 14, will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 15, 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; and Friday, Dec. 16, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. ( Read More ) |

Christmas vacation begins after last class on Dec. 15 |
Christmas vacation begins after the last class on Thursday, Dec. 15. Aurelius, Bonaventure, Gerard, Rooney, Saint Benedict, and Wimmer Halls will be locked from 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, and will remain locked until noon on Sunday, Jan. 8. Classes resume on Monday, Jan. 9. Housing is not available during Christmas break. Any exceptions must be approved by the director of residence life by noon on Friday, Dec. 9.
