The Digital Imaging Lab (DIL) is utilized by faculty and students throughout the natural science curriculum for inquiry-based classroom and/or laboratory-based activities (see "Coursework and Pedagogy"), and for faculty and student research projects (see "Faculty-Student Research").

The DIL occupies rooms 207 and 208 in the biology building. Room 207 houses the Molecular Imager and Multidetection Microtiter Plate Reader (see "Equipment and Capabilities"), while room 208 houses the Microscopy Suite which is equipped with student and instructor stations for imaging with four types of microscopy (see "Equipment and Capabilities")

Daytime Hours:

8:00-5:30 Monday - Friday

See any faculty member to gain access if facility is locked

Scheduling

To schedule a class session, or to check on the availability of the Microscopy or Molecular Imaging Suites refer to the wet-erase board posted outside the facility.

Individuals may schedule time on the Molecular Imager or Microtiter Plate Reader in the Molecular Imaging Suite.
