Meal Plan Options
All students living in the Residence Halls have contractually chosen a meal plan. ALL FRESHMEN ARE REQUIRED TO CHOOSE THE 19 MEAL PLAN OR THE 15 MEAL PLAN. Meal plan changes may only be made during the first week of the semester. All meal plans run Sunday morning through Saturday evening. You may only eat one meal during each meal period.
Full Board Plan
19 Meals Plus $50 Flex Dollars Includes all 19 meals served in one week (breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends), plus $50 in Flex dollars for the semester. The meal plans runs from Sunday through Saturday. This plan also allows for five bonus meals per semester. The bonus meals can be used for a guest. Before the purchase of a bonus meal, you must notify the cashier or checker of its intended use. This plan may be used in the Community Center Dining Room or you may use your meal equivalence in the Shack for lunch, brunch, or dinner only. If while using your meal equivalence you go over the allotted amount, you may then use Flex dollars or cash to make up the different. When dining at one dining facility during a meal period, another meal cannot be used during that same meal period at any other location, including meal equivalence. Flex dollars can be used at any time. Flex dollars may be used in the Shack, the Barista Cafe, and in the Community Center Dining Room to buy snacks, drinks, or a meal for a friend. Meal Plan Flex dollars expire at the end of each semester.

15 Plus Flex Dollars
15 Meals Plus $100 Flex Dollars Includes any 15 meals served in one week, plus $100 in Flex dollars for the semester. The meal plan runs from Sunday through Saturday. This plan also allows for five bonus meals per semester. The bonus meals can be used to take a guest to a meal. 12 Plus Flex Dollars
125 Meals Plus $125 Flex Dollars Includes any 12 meals served in one week, plus $125 in Flex dollars for the semester. The meal plan runs from Sunday through Saturday. 200 Block Plan
200 Block Plan Plus $100 Flex Dollars This plan is designed for students who want a meal plan with added flexibility. With this plan, you can enjoy a total of 200 meals per semester, which averages to 13.5 meals per week. The Block plan allows you to use a maximum of five meals per day total in any of the given meal periods. These meals can be used in both the Community Center Dining Room and The Shack through the meal exchange option. This plan also includes $100 flex dollars to be used for snacks, beverages, and even a full meal in the Shack. This plan also allows for five bonus meals per semester. The Bonus meals can be used to take a guest to a meal.

Student Teachers/Commuter Meal Plan
5 Meals Plus $50 Flex Dollars Includes any 5 meals served in one week, plus $50 in Flex dollars for the semester. This meal plan runs Sunday to Saturday. This plan may also be used in the Community Center Dining Room or you may use your meal equivalence in the Shack for lunch, brunch, or dinner only. When dining at one dining facility during a meal period, another meal cannot be used during that same meal period at any other location, including meal equivalence. Flex dollars may be used in the Shack, the Barista Cafe, and in the Community Center Dining Room to buy snacks, drinks, or a meal for a friend. Students who are interested in this option must be currently enrolled as a student teacher and must provide verification from the Education Department or be a commuter before themeal plan will be awarded. Meal Plan Flex dollars expire at the end of each semester.
Flex Dollars
Information on your balance is available at all locations. - Monitor your flex balance as carefully as you would your checking account to avoid overspending.
- Your flex dollars are not transferable or refundable.
- All unused flex dollars expire at the end of each semester.
- The flex program is not valid in the summer.
- You are solely responsible for reporting a lost card to the Dining Service Office and contacting the Public Safety Office. Your flex funds are fully protected from the time you report a lost card.
- Flex dollars may be used at any time in the Shack, Community Center or the Barista Cafe.
- Additional Express Dollars can always be added in the Dining Service Office, payable in Cash or by Check.
Bonus Meals
Students selecting the Full Meal Plan, the 15 and the 12 meal plan also receive (5) Bonus Meals per semester on their account that can only be used in the Community Center. Just inform the cashier at the Community Center that you wish to use this option. Bonus meals may include parents, friend, siblings or a member of the faculty or staff.
