Dr. David W. Grumbine, Jr.presented a poster over break at the March meeting of the American Physical Society in Los Angeles, California, on some of his research entitled “Absorption on Carbon Nanotubes: A Transfer Matrix Method.” He also gave a talk on some of the “side-effects” of this research at the spring 2005 meeting of the Western Pennsylvania section of the American Association of Physics Teachers entitled “ Super-Computing for the Rest of Us.”
