Riding lessons are free to students. As mentioned under the Riding page all students are required to purchase a helmet and boots. Students should expect to ride twice a month, sometimes more. If your Friday afternoon schedule is flexible and open, you can be scheduled to attend two lessons or weekly lessons if space allows.
Members will be placed on the campus Blackboard site in which announcements, lesson schedules, and volunteer events will be posted and emailed. The Equestrian Team and Club is also a group on Facebook in which all students are encouraged to join to remain in contact with alumni and other riders.
Students that want to join must complete the following forms. These are required of all members. Please print and submit these to Dr. Ent's office in the Education Department on ground floor of Prep Hall before the 2nd Monday of each term (.pdf):

The SVC Blackboard site for the Equestrian Team has the directions to Doubletree Farms. Once you have completed and submitted the above forms, you will be assigned a lesson time to arrive at the farm.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the team, unexcused failing to attend a lesson will result in the rider being placed on the waiting list.
