Prior to the use of any and all facilities, equipment, and/or other Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary property, the Purchaser will furnish a Certificate of Insurance, evidence of liability insurance coverage protecting both the College, Archabbey and Seminary and Purchaser. This coverage is to be underwritten by an insurance company satisfactory to the College and with the limits of liability not less than the following: Commercial General Liability $2,000,000 each occurrence for bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. If any aggregate limits are reduced below $500,000 because of claims made or paid during the required policy period, the contractor shall immediately obtain additional insurance to restore the full aggregate limit and furnish a certificate or other document showing compliance with this provision. Automobile Liability Insurance—(if applicable) $1,000,000
Combined Single Limit of Bodily Injury and Property Damage including
coverage for Owned, Non-owned and Hired Vehicles. Liquor Liability If alcoholic
beverages are served, $2,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and
property damages. If a form with a general aggregate limit is used,
either the general aggregate limit shall apply separately to the event
or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence
limit.
Note: Saint Vincent College reserves the right, based upon determined risk factors for any conference or event held on College, Archabbey and Seminary premises, to require higher limits for the Commercial General Liability policy as well as other insurances such as Automobile Liability. The General Liability policy shall cover all owned, non-owned, and hired automobiles. Required Provisions The General Liability, Liquor Liability and Automobile Liability policies are to contain the following provisions: Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary, its directors, officers, employees or volunteers shall be named as “ADDITIONAL NAMED INSURED.” The coverage shall contain no special limitations on the scope of protection afforded to Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary, its directors, officers, employees, or volunteers. For any claims related to this conference or event, the Purchaser’s insurance shall be primary insurance in respect to Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary, its directors, officers, employees or volunteers. Any insurance, self-insurance or other coverage maintained by Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary, its directors, officers, employees, or volunteers shall not contribute to the said claim. Any failure to comply with reporting or other provisions of the policies shall not affect coverage provided to Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary, its directors, officers, employees, or volunteers. Each insurance policy required by this clause shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be cancelled by either party, except after thirty (30) days (10 days for non-payment of premium) prior written notice by US Postal Service has been given to Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary.
Acceptability of Insurers Insurance is to be placed with insurers having a current A.M. Best’s rating of no less than B: VII or equivalent, or as otherwise approved by Saint Vincent College, Archabbey and Seminary or its insurance broker. Certificate of Insurance Evidence of insurance coverage should be delivered to the address below at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of the conference/event: Event and Conference Services, Saint Vincent College, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650
