We have sold around 400 tickets to the public so far for the Dashboard concert. Caridi said there was not much we could do about cafeteria overflow until 2008. There are no rooms open in the Carey Center for additional art studios. The best solution would be to talk to professors and have them address the issue. FMO is installing the lights in Melvin Platz. It is possible to get different bulbs or put in shades to dim down the lights. If all the lights are not used we might be able to get some money back. There should be temporary cleaners in Bonaventure Hall until the regular ones return. Tina Phillips will now be conducting yoga classes. New Business – Committee rosters were distributed to members. The photographer who works with Don Orlando suggested we have individual senior graduation pictures for sale. If we decide to do this, SGA would get 10% of the profits from photos purchased. Anyone is welcome to help out. Issues from the floor – Due to the Steelers victory today, it was motioned by Malesky to cancel the meeting on Super Bowl Sunday. The motion was seconded by Florendo and passed by unanimous vote. It was brought up that food was being taken away in the cafeteria before it actually closes. Marsherall said to notify a manager if they see this happening and they would take care of the issue. It was suggested to separate some of the tables that are pushed together in the cafeteria to make four person tables instead of large groups. It was questioned if there would be any activities for the Super Bowl. Stevens said she would look into the suggestion. Teems commented on bathroom cleanliness in St. Benedict Hall, stating people get sick and FMO does not clean up. Meny reported the pool table in Wimmer Hall is not balanced. Motion to adjourn by Keeler, seconded by Yanicko. Meeting adjourned at 8:36 PM
Respectfully submitted by John Wojtila
