Dr. Michael Botsko has had a problem and solution accepted for publication in the refereed journal “Mathematics Magazine.” This work will appear in June 2006 and involves lower semicontinuity, fixed points for noncontinuous functions and compact metric spaces. “Mathematics Magazine” is an official journal of the Mathematical Association of America.
