George F. Kacenga, C’02, assistant director of Admission and Financial Aid, is leaving to join the Office of International Services at the University of Pittsburgh as the assistant director.
 
“Boniface Wimmer said to go ‘forward, always forward,’ and this move is just that for me, but that does not mean I will forget where I have been or the people who helped me along the way,” George said.  “I will miss being at SVC a great deal.  It is a place of great opportunity to those who seize it, and the home of wonderful traditions.  I have no doubt that I will be an active alumnus, and I look forward to continuing the many friendships I have made here over the years.”
 
As a student, he served as a student prefect, Orientation chairperson and executive board president of the Student Government Association. He completed his master of science degree in education at Saint Vincent College in May 2005.
