GRE Prep Course to be held at SVC starting Feb. 21

The Office of  Career Services has arranged for Princeton Review to provide an on-campus course to prepare students to sit for the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).

It will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Feb. 21 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will run approximately four weeks with a one-week break for spring break. Course dates will include Feb. 21, 23 and 28, and March 2, 14, 16, 21 and 23.  Sessions will take place in Alfred 34.  There are only eight sessions and a maximum of eight students in the class.  Books and 3 CAT exams are provided. CAT's are computer-aided tests.  The students take actual GREs on the computer as they would for the real test.

Officials at Princeton Review are encouraging students to prepare and sit for the exam prior to October when changes instituted by ETS will make the exam twice as long as the current exam and much more difficult. The cost is $1049.

To register you may call 412-687- 4880 or visit www.princetonreview.com. and input the zip code for Latrobe 15650 to bring up the SVC test site.
