The Oblates of Saint Benedict affiliated with Saint Vincent Archabbey will meet at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, in Brownfield Room 202 of Saint Vincent Seminary.  The topic of discussion will be “Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading),” based on the Chapter 23 of the book “Benedict’s Way,” with emphasis on encountering God in His word and being gradually transformed to conform to His will. Those who have copies of the book should bring them; copies will be supplied to others.

All Christians who seek to enhance their journeys of faith with the help of the time-tested way of the “Rule” of Saint Benedict are welcome to attend.  Those wishing to pray Vespers with the monks at 5 p.m. and then stay for supper should contact Fr. Donald Raila, O.S.B., at 724-805-2291 in advance.
