Mike enters his junior season for the Bearcats, and will make the switch from quarterback to linebacker for 2008. Saw action in all 10 games at QB, starting six, completing 69 of 189 passes for 937 yards and six TD's. He also rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on 60 carries, finishing tenth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in total offense (1,060yds). A graduate of Saltsburg HS, he was a three-year letterwinner on the gridiron, serving as team captain during his senior season. He also played four seasons of basketball and three of baseball. An Education major, Mike was born 11-19-87. He is the son of Dan and Patty Speal.
