LINEMAN DEVELOPMENT CAMP PHILOSOPHY: The camp is designed to develop offensive and defensive line specific skills. Half of the instructional time will be devoted to offensive line fundamentals and techniques. The other half of the session will focus on defensive line techniques and fundamentals. Personal attention from our college coaching staff will be given to the players. No football equipment will be worn. Football shoes are permitted.
WHERE: On the campus of Saint Vincent College. Located just 40 miles from Pittsburgh, PA, in the Laurel Highlands, Saint Vincent College is hosting the lineman development camp on its 200 acre campus, which includes eight fields. Saint Vincent College is the training camp home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
WHO:
The camp is designed to instruct football players entering grades 9
– 12 who are offensive and defensive linemen. Players who play Tight
End may also attend. They will receive pass catching instruction in
addition to blocking techniques.
