GLOBAL EXPERIENCE 2004: LONDON, ENGLAND

Twelve students traveled to London, England with Dr. Mertens and his wife over spring break 2004.  They visited the London Stock Exchange and attended a private lecture on the European Union and the economy.  They also visited many sites of cultural and historical significance, including Buckingham Palace, London Bridge,  the Tower of London, and Big Ben.  Before returning to the US, the travelers enjoyed a live theatrical production of "The Lion King."

Of this original group of student travelers, many returned to study in England or complete internships in London within the next year.
