History juniors and seniors attended the Western Pennsylvania Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference and Undergraduate History Forum held at Clarion University on April 2. Senior History majors Virginia Leiner and James Natale presented versions of their senior theses. Ms. Leiner's paper, "Caravaggio and the Identity of Saint Matthew: A Study of the Advent of Ambiguity in Art," was awarded a paper prize. Other students who attended included: Nick Baum, Bryan Bish, Kristy Cameron, Neal Cholock, Desiree Craig, Bob Dern, Stacy Ducar, Eric Eiseman, Tara Hopper, Lauren Lewandowski, Doug McIndoe, Tim Meyers and Matthew Shields. Dr. Sommers attended and served as a panel moderator for a group of papers on the Cold War.
