The Saint Vincent Mock Trial team is preparing to compete in a regional tournament to be held Feb. 24 and 25 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The performance at this regional competition will determine the schools which will be able to compete nationally.

The Saint Vincent team competed in November in an invitational competition held at the University of Pennsylvania and largely attended by Ivy League schools. Attorney coach Lee Demosky, a lecturer in political science at Saint Vincent, said “I’ve been coaching Mock Trial since 1999 and that was the most challenging tournament Saint Vincent has attended.”

This year’s team members include: seniors Brian Bartnicki, Matthew Morley and Matthew Shields; junior James Porter; and sophomores Paul Boland, Dawn Koontz and Ashley Martin.
