Saint Vincent College received its second Impact Award from Junior Achievement June 15, recognizing student involvement and efforts to inspire area youth to gain a better understanding of Business, Economics and Free Enterprise. Saint Vincent was one of four colleges to receive the award, acknowledging schools and organizations that provided six or more Junior Achievement lessons to their community. Throughout the 2005-2006 academic year, four students participated in this service-learning activity, presenting seven lessons to students at Sacred Heart School in Youngstown, grades K-6. This is just one of several enrichment and support activities Saint Vincent College students provide to the area school.
