Wayne Hooper is a junior from Altoona Area, working toward a degree in Psychology Education.  While at Altoona, Wayne was a four year PIAA state qualifier in cross country and track.  Wayne was a top 7 runner throughout most of his freshman year until an injury and he recovered to be a top 7 runner all sophomore year, finishing at NAIA cross country nationals finishing with a personal best of 26:34. 

Wayne was a member of the 4x800 team that ran provisional qualifying time for NAIA track nationals.
