The Saint Vincent men finished fifth among 14 teams in the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational in Pittsburgh. CMU won the team event with a score of 29, followed by the CMU Alumni Team (62), Duquesne (90), and the University of Mary Washington (90). Saint Vincent rounded out the top five with a score of 100. Kevin Wanichko finished seventh overall, timed in 26:19. Overall 153 runners were in the field. Also for SVC, Adam Tucek was 22nd (27:05), Ryan Barlow finished 23rd (27:11), Josh Hooke was 27th (27:20), Matt Hagg (27:21), Shane Simmons finished 32nd (27:29) and Jeff Hite was 37th (27:42), completing the team's top seven.
