Saint Vincent senior Wayne Hooper took the individual title at the 2007 Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships, while teammate Adam Smith came in second individually, leading the Bearcats to a fourth place finish as a team at the event held in Williamstown, Massachussets. Hooper finished first out of 265 runners, crossing the finish line in 26:13, while Smith was right on his heels, finishing the 8-kilometer race just three seconds later. All seven of SVC's runners finished in the top 100, as Jim Walsh took 30th with a time of 27:31, Shane Simmons 33rd (27:35), Ed Moss 73rd (28:22), Nick Stelitano 85th (28:22), and Bill Fischer 89th (28:49). Williams College, the host school, took the team title, followed by Kean, SUNY-Oneonta, and the Bearcats, who finished with a score of 135. A total of 37 schools competed.
