Student uses A.J. Palumbo Grant to study antibacterial agents
Graham P. Harbison used his A.J. Palumbo Student Research Grant to help with his senior research. He had this to say about his research: “My research involved the surface antibiotic ability of a supplement called Royal Jelly and common honey such as blossom and clover honey. These agents were tested on nine common bacteria found on or in close proximity to the human body. The purpose of this experiment was to determine if Royal Jelly or its components could have the possibility of being a successful surface antibacterial agent.”
