History course rated by College Board Advanced Placement Best Practices Study

Dr. Susan Mitchell-Sommers' "Contemporary Europe II" course was recently rated by the College Board Advanced Placement Best Practices Study as one of the top 20 examples of best practices from among all submitted courses in European History. The Center for Educational Policy Research (CEPR) at the University of Oregon will analyze these courses as part of the redesign of the European History Advanced Placement course. The study's findings will assist members of a commission as they identify the most important content, attitudes, skills and instructional practices needed for success in the AP course in European History.
