Kenny, one of four co-captains on Coach Harris' squad this season, has started every game in his first three years at Saint Vincent and is one of the top point guards in the NAIA.

Last season, he averaged 17.4 points, 5.4 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. He has received post-season honors in each of his three years as a Bearcat, as he was named to the All-American Mideast Conference Honorable Mention Team his freshman year, a First Team AMC-North selection in each of his last two years, and a Third-Team NAIA All-American last season.

He was named MVP of the Saint Vincent Invitational in 2002 and made the All-Tournament Team in the Don Glick Memorial Tournament at Bridgewater, VA.

In high school, Kenny was the 1999 Martinsburg Journal Co-Player of the Year and was a West Virginia AAA First Team All-State selection. ?He is Hedgesville High School's all-time leader in assists and steals and was a WV North/South All-Star Game participant, played in the WV vs. OH All-Star game and the Scott Brown Memorial Classic.

He led his team to the State Quarterfinals his senior year, in addition to Section and Region Championships. ?His sophomore year, the team was a State Semi-Finalist, Section Champ and Regional Champion.

In 1999-2000, he led Notre Dame Prep of Fitchburg, MA to a 25-7 record, averaging 16 points per game.

A communication major, Kenny is the son of Lamar Butler and Leslie Roberts.
