The Robert S. Carey Student Center is the home of Saint Vincent Basketball.  First opened as Sportsman's Hall in 1952, the building was later renamed Kennedy Hall.  An extensive reconstruction project took place in 2002-03, including the addition of a new wing for athletic offices, new locker rooms, weight room, gym floor, seating and more.  At that time, the new Carey Center was christened, becoming one of the premier facilities in the NAIA.

The Carey Center is also the home of the "Carey Crazies", the students who attend each game and provide "sixth man" support for Saint Vincent Basketball.

The Bearcat locker room is part of the new addition to the Carey Center, opened in the fall of 2003.  It is part of a state-of-the-art facility, one of the finest in small college basketball.

The new Saint Vincent weight room contains all of the latest fitness equipment, from free weights to weight machines to cardio-vascular equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals and exercise bikes. Our student-athletes get the opportunity to use the room year-round as part of a total fitness regimen.
