SVC Men's Basketball
Daniel Santiago

After being named the NAIA National Player of the Year for the Bearcats in 1997-98, Daniel began his pro career overseas in Europe.  He returned to the US to join the Phoenix Suns of the NBA in 2001-02.

After spending 2002-03 back in Europe, he joined the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, where he played for two seasons.  Through the 2004-05 season, Daniel appeared in 122 NBA games.  He currently plays for Regal FC Barcelona in Spain's top league. 

Tony Washam


After graduating from Saint Vincent as the school's all-time leading scorer and a three-time All-American, Tony currently plays for Elizzur Macabi Netanya, and led the team to the National Championship in 2008-09.  He has led his team to a championship in two of his four seasons in Israel, the first with Hapoel Holon in 2007.

That year,  he led the league in scoring, with over 25 points per game, and was the league MVP.  In January of '07, he posted a career-high 49 point game. 

He began the 2008-09 season playing for Ironi Nahariya in the Premier League, before moving back to Elitzur Maccabi Netanya mid-season.

Jeff Mallory

A 2006 graduate, Jeff spent two seasons playing for CajaSur, a member of the  LEB Bronze/Silver League based in Cordoba, Spain.  A seven-foot center, Jeff left Saint Vincent as the school's all-time record holder for career blocked shots with 313.  He is also SVC's fifth-all time leading scorer, with 1,580 points for his career.  He was a First Team All-American Mideast Conference selection his senior season, averaging 19.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks. 

Felix Indaye

After graduating from Saint Vincent in 2005, Felix returned to his native France, but injured his knee and missed the 2005-06 season.  In the summer of 2006, he signed with Boulazac of the Pro B league in France.

Kenny Roberts


Regarded as perhaps the top point guard in Saint Vincent history, Kenny was an All-American in 2004-05. After graduating from SVC, he joined the Manchester Magic in England and quickly became the team's starting point guard, leading the team to the playoffs in 2005-06. 

In 05-06, Kenny averaged 16 points per game and 4 assists per game with Manchester.  In 06-07, he aveaged 22.7 points, with 4.4 assists and 3 steals per game the with Tees Valley Mohawks of the British Basketball League.

After spending a season as an assistant coach for the Bearcats, Kenny returned to Tees Valley for the 2008-09 season. 

 

Rob Husar


Rob came to SVC in the fall of 2002 after transferring from Genesee College in NY.  He went to the NAIA National Tournament in both his junior and senior years with the Bearcats.  After graduating in 2004, the native of Slovakia returned to Europe and spent the 2004-05 season with the Mattersburg 49ers of the Austrian League.

Chris Williams


After two consecutive visits to the NAIA National Tournaments with the Bearcats, "C-Dub" graduated in 2003 and left for Germany, where he has played for six seasons.  He currently is a member of SV Oberelechingen in the Regionalliga 2.

Ananius Jackson


After helping to lead the team to the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Tournament during his senior year in 2002, "Jay" signed on to play with Rotterdam in The Netherlands for a season. Knee trouble forced him out of the league after one season.

Lamont Latimer

Monty enjoyed a very successful senior season in 1999-2000 for the Bearcats after transferring from Western Kentucky, scoring 11.3 points per game along with 4.3 assists and 5 rebounds.  He played professionally in Milan, Italy.

Fernando Ortiz

Fernando played two seasons for Saint Vincent in the mid-1990s before transferring.  He enjoyed a long professional career in Puerto Rico.

Al Mallah


Mallah starred for the Bearcats for his final two collegiate seasons (1976-78) before beginning a pro career in Greece.

He played professionally for more than a decade.
