Matt is a freshman Political Science major from Smethport High School, where he was a PIAA state qualifier in cross country and track. In the summer of 2006, he traveled with the Down Under Games Sports Tour for a series of cross country meets in Australia. Matt’s best 5K cross country time in high school was 17:02, and he ran 10:12 for 3200 meters on the track. We are looking for Matt to be a consistent varsity runner during his freshman season.
