Saint Vincent finished fourth among 12 teams in the Muhlenberg College Invitational. The Bearcats were in 6th place after day one of competition, but jumped to fourth by posting an identical second-day team score of 321. Individually, Jeff Varga, Matt Bronkar and Devin Gmitter all tied for 20th overall, shooting two-day scores of 162. Doug Mehall was one stroke back at 163, while Ben Lenhart shot 167. Varga had a team-best 77 on the first day, while both Bronkar and Mehall shot 77 on day two. Trinity College won the team title with a score of 611, followed by Muhlenberg (627), Allegheny (630) and Saint Vincent (642). Washington & Jefferson was fifth, at 643, followed by Lafayette (647), Moravian (651), Swarthmore (682), Hobart (684), Neumann (686), Penn State Harrisburg (689) and Ursinus (717).
