The Bearcats played a tune up event against Brevard College at the Remington Golf Club in Orlando, FL.

In the best 4 of 4 event, the Bearcats were edged by a score of 319-338 by Brevard, an NAIA school located in North Carolina.

Doug Mehall led the Bearcats with a score of 79, good for second overall individually. Jeff Varga shot an 84, Adam Agin 86, and Devin Gmitter 90.

"I think the playing experience in Florida will definitely translate into success once the weather cooperates and the season gets underway here," said Bearcat assistant coach Jamie Costic.

The Bearcats are scheduled to officially open the 2008 campaign on March 29th, traveling to Greene County CC to take on Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Waynesburg University.
