Devin Gmitter and Doug Mehall finished first and second overall, respectively, in the Washington & Jefferson Fall Invitational. Gmitter shot 151 for 36 holes (75-76) to take first place overall, besting Mehall by two strokes (74-79). SVC's Jeff Varga finished in a tie for third overall, shooting 74-77 (154). The trio led Saint Vincent to an overall first place finish as a team, with a total of 617, three strokes better than Susquehanna University in the 10-team event. Matt Bronkar finished 16th overall (84-75 - 159) and Adam Agin finished 44th (89-93 - 182). The tournament counts as the first leg of the 2008 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship which will be competed among a number of tournaments this spring. The PAC Championship in April will be double-weighted as the last of the spring tournaments.
