The Bearcats lost on the road in North Carolina to Greensboro College by a score of 12-9. Saint Vincent got off to a good start, jumping out to a 5-1 lead midway through the second quarter, but Greensboro outscored the Bearcats 11-4 over the final 35 minutes to earn the comeback win. Freshman Will Delanoy finished the day with four points to lead the Bearcat scoring attack, as he tallied three goals and one assist. Jake Dick also posted a hat trick for SVC, scoring three goals, while Zach Wilfong, Kevin Vawter, and Ryan Kearney each scored one goal apiece. Kearney finished with three points, as he added two assists, while Kearney also tallied one helper on the afternoon. Jon McMahon started and played all 60 minutes in goal, tallying 13 saves in the losing effort. Greensboro (9-3) was led on the scoresheet by Brad Gesser, who came off the bench to score three times. Teammate Bryan Mercer added two goals and two assists, while goalie Mike Foderaro made 15 saves for the win. Saint Vincent (3-8) will now return to action on Tuesday evening, traveling to Oberlin College for a 6:30pm contest.
