Kenyon College used a big third quarter rally to defeat the Bearcats 12-9. The Bearcats enjoyed a 7-3 lead midway through the third quarter, before the Lords erupted, ending the game on a 9-2 run. Zach Wilfong scored three goals and two assists to lead the Bearcats, while teammate Will Delanoy added a pair of tallies and Jon McMahon made 16 saves in net in the losing effort. Saint Vincent jumped out to a 3-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, with two goals from Wilfong and one by Jake Dick. After a Ryan Kearney goal gave the Bearcats a 4-0 advantage midway through the second quarter, Kenyon scored three of the next four goals of the game, which entered halftime with the Bearcats up 6-3. Mike Diggs gave SVC a 7-3 lead in the opening moments of the third quarter, but the Lords then erupted, ending the quarter on a 6-2 run to tie the game at nine heading into the fourth quarter. SVC was unable to find the net over the final 15 minutes, while the Lords added a trio of insurance goals to secure the 12-9 comeback win. The loss drops SVC's record to 2-6 on the season, and the Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday, hosting the College of Wooster at 4pm.
