The Bearcats finished the 1984 season with a 12-5 record thanks to the offensive combination of Ricky Boysen and Dean Zanella and keeper Ed Sagan.
Boysen set a school scoring record by recording 16 goals and 11 assists. His top performance came on October 18 when he recorded four goals. Dan Bobrowski recorded the sesaon's other hat trick, scoring three goals against Saint Francis on October 21.
Zanella, playing as a forward, finished the year with 12 goals and 6 assists, while Sagan recorded a school-record six shutouts as a sophomore in the net.
