Three Bearcats have received Coaches Honors from the Presidents' Athletic Conference for their play in the 2007 season. Sophomores Luis Rodriguez and Ben Fecik and senior Jason Zielinski all received the recognition, the equivalency of all-conference awards for schools, like Saint Vincent, that are in provisional status in NCAA Division-III. Rodriguez, a sophomore forward, led the PAC in both goals (15) and points (33). The native of Tegungalpa, Honduras also recorded two game winning goals, and was perfect in two penalty kick attempts. He also had a pair of hat tricks on the season, scoring three goals in the Bearcats' September 22nd win over Franciscan and once again in SVC's season finale victory over Waynesburg on October 27. Fecik, also a sophomore forward, battled through injuries for the Bearcats, and ended the season with six goals and five assists, good for 17 points, 10th most in the PAC. A native of Pittsburgh, PA and graduate of Plum High School, Fecik also tallied a pair of game-winning goals, including an overtime winner against Thomas More on October 14th. Zielinski, a senior midfielder, served as co-captain for the 2007 Bearcats. He started all 20 games this season, scoring four goals while adding eight assists, third most in the PAC. The graduate of Shaler High School recorded two assists in a game twice this season, while scoring at least two points in five different games. The Bearcats, coached by Keith Harmon, finished the 2007 campaign with an 8-9-3 record.
