The Saint Vincent offense produced 28 shots, as the Bearcats picked up a 7-0 road win over Waynesburg Univesity. Luis Rodriguez scored three goals for his second hat trick in as many games, while Ben Fecik added a goal and a career-high four assists. The Bearcats wasted little time in getting on the scoreboard, as Fecik gave SVC a 1-0 lead with a goal in the game's third minute. With just under 30 minutes left in the opening half, Anthony Balistreri gave SVC a 2-0 lead, scoring on a breakaway off of Fecik's first goal of the afternoon. The Bearcats maintained the 2-0 lead through halftime. As was the case in the first half, SVC came out of the intermission on fire, with Rodriguez scoring twice in the first four minutes of the second half. In the 60th minute, Gage Arnold scored his second goal of the season, blasting a one-timer into the net off of a deflection, putting the visitors ahead 5-0. With just over six minutes left, Rodriguez completed the hat trick, with the assist again credited to Fecik, before Nick Pollino netted his first career goal in the game's 88th minute to finish the scoring. Jake Gilbertson started in goal for SVC, and played 70 minutes, making six saves, before giving way to Clemente Mejia, who played the final 20 minutes of the game, making one save. For the game, the Bearcats out-shot Waynesburg 28-17. Saint Vincent (5-8-1) will look to extend its winning streak to three on Friday afternoon, hosting Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Thiel on the Bearcat turf beginning at 2pm.
