Behind a seven-point day from senior Luis Rodriguez, the Bearcats snapped their four-game losing streak in a big way, defeating Bethany College 5-1. Rodriguez scored three goals, for his third career hat trick, while also adding an assist. He was one of three Bearcats with multi-point days, as Ben Fecik scored a goal and added three assists, while Anthony Balistreri tallied a goal and an assist. Balistreri got the Bearcats on the board early in the first half, before Rodriguez's first goal of the afternoon sent the game into halftime with SVC up 2-0. The host Bison scored in the opening stages of the second half, to cut the score in half, before the Bearcats put the game away, with Rodriguez scoring twice and Fecik once over the final 30 minutes. With the win, SVC improves to 4-8-1 on the year, and the Bearcats return to action on Tuesday, traveling to another Presidents' Athletic Conference rival, Waynesburg, for a 6:30pm contest.
