Jon will be swimming for a second season at SVC.  As a freshman, he participated in five events at the NAIA National Championship, including the 50m and 100m freestyle, and the 200m freestyle, 400m freestyle, and 400m medley relays.

He was a three-year member of the swim team at Greater Latrobe, serving as a co-captain in 2005, and qualifying for the WPIAL championships.

An Accounting major, he is the son of William and Margery Okonak.
