Josh is the most seasoned member of the Bearcats swim team, and was one of the squad's charter members in 2004. A very versatile competitor, he qualified for the NAIA National Championship in six events last season, including the 200m freestyle, 400m freestyle, and 400m medley relays and individually in the 500m freestyle, 100m breast, and 1650m freestyle.

He also was a National Qualifier during his freshman season, receiving a Champion of Character award from the NAIA.

The son of Janet and William Shrum, Josh is majoring in History.
