The Bearcat swimmers completed the 2008 regular season with a fifth-place finish at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Grove City College.

Day 1: 

The Bearcat 200yd Freestyle Relay team of Troy Linebaugh, Joe Bruzda, Zack Krejdovsky, and Jon Okonak took seventh place with a time of 1:31.75.  SVC's 400yd Medley Relay squad, consisting of Krejdovsky, Josh Shrum, Eric Clouse, and Greg Jackson, took 10th place. 

Krejdovsky's time of 5:01.50 in the 500yd Freestyle was good for eighth place, while Adam Hodinchak finished in 13th with a time of 5:16.06.   Clouse took 10th place, with a time of 2:04.92, in the 200yd Individual Medley, while Okonak and Linebaugh finished 11th and 15th, respectively, in the 50yd Freestyle.   

Day 2:

The 200 Medley Relay team of Joe Bruzda, Josh Shrum, Eric Clouse and Jon Okonak set a pair of school records. The team time was 1:41.62, good for 4th in the event, while Bruzda's 50 Back time was 26:49, another new SVC record. 

In the 400 IM, Bruzda set another school record with a time of 4:22.42, good for fourth. Shrum was 13th in the final.

Eric Clouse  set a school record in the 100 Fly, timed in 53:50, good for 7th in the final, and he qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship, which will be held at the University of Pittsburgh from Feb. 28 - Mar. 2. 

In the 100 Breaststroke final, Shrum finished 14th, while the 800 Free Relay team of Okonak, Bruzda, Clouse and Krejdovsky set yet another school record, 7:30.87, finishing fifth.  

Day 3:
In the 1650 free, Bruzda led the way with a seventh place finish, timed in 17:25.65 to set a new SVC record. Krejdovsky finished in 10th and Hodinchak 12th. 

Bruzda also entered the SVC record books in the 100 Fly, finishing in seventh place with a time of 2:00.16.  Clouse set an SVC record in the 200 Fly, finishing in eighth place with a time of 2:06.10.  Okonak took 11th in the 100 Free, Shrum 14th in the 200 Breast, and the 400 Free relay team consisting of Bruzda, Linebaugh, Okonak, and Shrum took fifth, finishing with a time of 3:23.10.
