The Bearcats finished in fifth place at the three-day Presidents' Athletic Conference championships hosted by Grove City. Saint Vincent finished with a total team score of 230.5, to finish fourth out of five PAC schools, and fifth out of 10 schools overall, as five members of the Allegheny Mountain Conference also participated. On day one, the Bearcats started in fine fashion, as the 200 Free Relay squad of Andre Maldonado, Troy Linebaugh, Kirk Selembo, and Jon Okonak set a new school mark with a time of 1:29.82 in the prelims. In the event's final, the foursome turned in a fourth place finish. A new school record was set in the 500 Free by Dan Brett, who turned in a time of 4:57.50 in the prelims before taking 14th in the finals with a time of 4:59.81. Zack Krejdovsky finished right behind Brett, taking 15th with a time of 5:02.43. In the preliminaries for the 50 Free, Okonak broke his own record with a time of 22.17 seconds, and then finished 12th in the finals, touching in 22.22 seconds. Teammate Kyle Kuklewski took 14th in the event, with a time of 23.15 seconds. The 400 Medley Relay squad of Krejdovsky, Selembo, Adam Thomas, and Matt Snelick turned in a time of 3:55.88 in the finals, good for sixth place, while in the 200 IM, Maldonado finished with a time of 2:10.00, good for 16th place. Day two started with the 200 Medley Relay, and Thomas, Snelick, Okonak, and Kyle Kuklewski teamed up for a fourth-place time of 1:42.27. Brett and Krejdovsky finished 11th and 12th, respectively, in the 400 IM, while Okonak followed with a ninth place finish in the finals of the 100 Fly. Maldonado led the Bearcats with a 16th-place finish in the 200 Free, while Snelick took 11th in the 100 Breast and Thomas 15th in the 100 Back. The day wrapped up with the 800 Free Relay, and Okonak, Maldonado, Brett, and Krejdovsky combined for a sixth place finish with a time of 7:30.70. On the final day, Brett started things off with a 10th-place time in the 1650 Free (17:29.00), with Krejdovsky finishing closely behind in 11th (17:45.75) and Adam Hodnichak 12th (17:58.02). Thomas led SVC with a 13th place performance in the 100 Back, Mike Azzarello 12th in the 200 Fly, and Matt Snelick 11th and Dan Kostovny 13th in the 200 Breast. In the final event of the weekend, the 400 Free Relay, Okonak, Selembo, Kuklewski, and Maldonado teamed up to earn fourth place with a time of 3:22.20. Grove City College won the championship, finishing with 949 points, followed by Westminster (805.5), and Washington & Jefferson (612). Bethany rounded out the PAC schools with a score of 62.
