The Bearcat men set one PAC record and three new school records during the Presidents' Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships.

Craig Anderton established a new school and PAC record by winning the 800 meters in 1:53.92.  He eclipsed his own school record of 1:55.66 and broke the former PAC standards of 1:54.70.

Wayne Hooper won the 1500 in a time of 4:01.03, another school record. 

The Bearcat 4x400 relay team also set a new school record, timed in 3:23.32, taking 17/100 off their former best.   The team finished second in the event.

Alex Krupey finished third in the 400, and lowered his school record .16, to 51.53.

Anderton and Hooper were not the only Bearcat winners on the day.  Adam Smith won the 10,000 in a time of 32:53.05.  Jim Walsh was fifth in the event, timed in 35:29.05, while Bill Fischer was 9th (36:22.33) and Mike Hannon was 10th (37:52.12).

Scott Steel finished sixth in the 110 Hurdles, finishing in 15.48, his second fastest time of the season.

In the 800, Shane Anderton finished second behind his brother, with a time of 1:56.01.  Nick Stelitano was 8th (2:01.37), Adam Tucek was 9th (2:01.99) and Mike Stevens was 11th (2:04.40).

Matt Hagg finished second in the 5000 meters, with a time of 16:24.35, while Ed Moss was 11th (17:39.89).

SVC's runners did not earn team points, since the Bearcats are provisional members of the NCAA and are not eligible for the PAC title.
