Saint Vincent College Students Complete Summer Service Project

Forty-three undergraduate students, six student leaders, and four staff leaders will complete a service project opportunity on Saturday, July 30, from 1 to 3:30 pm. The sites that will be visited include Loyalhanna Tower and Laurel Highlands to play bingo, the Saint Vincent DePaul store of Latrobe to help in the relocation to the new store, and the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve to aid in trail maintenance.

The student leaders include Michael Kale, a senior communication major from Littlestown; Charmaine Jemison, a senior liberal arts major from Pittsburgh (15201); Sabrina Schmittlein, a junior elementary instruction major from Coraopolis; Jake Smith, a senior history major from Summerville; Simon Clayton, a senior marketing major from East Orange, New Jersey; and Mushir Poole, a sophomore undecided major from Newark, New Jersey.
