Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host a seminar, Promote Your Business with Social Media, on Thursday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Saint Vincent College. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Today’s marketing is a two-way communication that connects businesses with their customers. Participants will learn how to capitalize on this new surge of marketing techniques and to effectively utilize online programs that will give their businesses worldwide visibility.

Presenter Joe Polk, a technology consultant with more than 15 years Internet experience, will walk attendees through Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, and more to give them a better understanding of how these programs can not only work for them, but help to increase visibility for their company and bring in new customers.

The fee to attend is $40 or $35 each for two or more. A coffee/tea set up is included as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.

The Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. To register or to obtain additional information on the program, contact the Saint Vincent College SBDC at 724 537-4572.
