Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host a seminar on Wednesday, December 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. titled How to Access and Analyze 2010 U.S. Census Data.
The availability of timely, accurate and useful information is a key factor in economic competitiveness and survival regardless of whether you are a business, non-profit organization or a governmental entity. Planning, healthcare, business, government and community development organizations use census data to help them make informed decisions. This program will help participants to locate and access 2010 census data via the Internet, as well as understand and download information about the American Community Survey (ACS), the economic census, population estimates, health insurance, poverty estimates and more.
The seminar will be presented by Susan D. Copella, director of the Pennsylvania State Data Center. Three CPE other credits are available on request. The fee to attend this seminar is $69 and includes materials, a drink/snack setup and an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. To register or to obtain additional information, contact the Saint Vincent College SBDC at 724 537-4572 or visit the SBDC website at www.stvincent.edu/sbdc.
