SBDC Hosts 'Your Budget - A Profit Plan for Your Business'

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering the seminar, Your Budget – A Profit Plan for Your Business, on Thursday, December 8, at Saint Vincent College, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Registration is required. Cost is $40 or $35 each if two or more attend together. Each attendee will receive program materials, a $10 gift certificate toward the cost of another Saint Vincent College SBDC seminar, and an optional free one-year subscription to Inc. Magazine.

This program is designed to help businesses understand how the budgetary process serves as a planning tool and a control system for business, how it provides a framework for judging performance, and how it allows management to more effectively manage costs. Topics covered include sales forecasting, break-even analysis, rolling budgets, estimating variable and fixed costs, determining costs of goods, budget deviation analysis, and how a budgeted balance sheet can be used as a predictor of capital needs. The seminar offers participants three CPE Other Credits.
