The Saint Vincent College Service Corps for Exceptional Children (SCEC) is sponsoring a hat and mitten drive to benefit the Welcome Home Shelter, a safe lodging for homeless women and families in Greensburg. Club officers Alicia Ramsier (seated left) and Michael Rhea (seated right) and standing from left, Fr. Philip Kanfush, O.S.B., Stephanie Kline and Caitlin Ross are working with club members to gather new or gently used winter gear to help to keep families warm this winter. Area residents may join them to help the less fortunate by dropping off items in collection boxes located in the SVC Education Department, room 21, Robert S. Carey Student Center, and outside the Student Affairs Office, first floor, Alfred Hall, prior to Friday, December 2. For information, contact Fr. Philip at 724 805-2417.
