Joseph M. Gray, junior computing and information science and mathematics major of Hopedale, Ohio has been named to the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founders’ Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Thursday, November 17 in the Archabbey Basilica.
Mr. Gray, son of Philip and Emily Gray, is the 2009 Wimmer Scholarship winner. He is also a member of the Dean’s List. He is a 2009 graduate of a home-schooled program.
The Who’s Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
