Taylor L. Guido, senior chemistry major with a minor in secondary education of Greensburg has been named to the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founders’ Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Thursday, November 17 in the Archabbey Basilica.
Ms. Guido, daughter of Chris and Sharon Guido, serves as Student Government Association Executive Board Vice President. She is also a member of the Secondary Education Club, freshman orientation committee, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and Campus Ministry volunteer. Ms. Guido is involved with the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and served as president of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She is a member of the Dean’s List. Ms. Guido is a member and co-captain of the Saint Vincent Volleyball team and has won numerous awards including President’s Athletic Conference All-Conference Award. She is a 2008 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School.
The Who’s Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
